Could be that if illegal, or cocaine, or anything really. It won't work well since street drugs are inconsistent on top of not a medical professional involved to help with dosage.
Then there is the possibility of alterants, especially with meth.
People get frustrated by circumstances they don't necessarily understand. Fascists give them easy targets based on lies that feed the people's prejudice to place their blame, and introduce more and more oppressive social restrictions based on those easy targets while riling up public fears and so on.
That is how lies about immigrant and minority crime have primed the US populace to be ok with the military occupying the nation's capital based on blatant lies about crime rates.
The way around that is to not think that you are a loner, just someone who doesn't happen to have a friend present at that particular location. Other people will be in the same situation!

I dislike things where taxidermied animals parts are used for something because it looks weird. Like animal legs and feet for tables. Basically if it makes me think the animal suffered I dislike it.
Yes I eat meat and wear leather and other stuff from animals that often makes them suffer, but I also spent a large amount of time on grandpa's farm and the idea that ethical use of animals can exist overrides my knowledge that they are often abused in my day to day decision making.
I think learning about Nazis making human skin stuff out of their holocaust victims put me off for things made out of human parts. Like bone is bone, but my first knowledge of human parts being used was Nazi ahit. Didn't find out about the religious human remains stuff till later.
Puerto Rico got 91 Billion Dollars for the hurricane, more money than has ever been gotten for a hurricane before, & all their local politicians do is complain & ask for more money. The pols are grossly incompetent, spend the money foolishly or corruptly, & only take from USA....
