A lot of of the people in this new jail were already convicted criminals that were In old overcrowded jails that were ran by the gangs. There’s videos of them partying with hookers in the jails Before this one was built. El Salvador didn’t just build a new jail and decide to go find a bunch of people on the street and put them in there.
