So the citizens of these wealthier countries are spending their time and money doing other things. Not just skii vacations or going yachting, but reading books and watching TV.

My cutoff is anything before the Black Album. So they've pretty much got me nailed- Classic Metal Purist. Though I do like modern Stoner and Desert Rock.
