What is to be done about parents who do not give a shit about what their children are exposed to on the internet?

Do we mandate adult controls on machines and punish the parents that don't use them? Because that's actually not all that different from age verification laws.
Actually, no, we don't face the same problems. You and I don't have have to live in fear that we'll be murdered by a drone, or won't be able to get food tomorrow, or could get an infection and there won't be antibiotics available at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the most recent defense authorization act just earmarked another $800 billion for Ukraine, guarantees a minimum of 76,000 US forces for NATO, and secured the U.S. European Commander as the continued NATO Supreme Commander.
Trump is fooling people into thinking he's some kind of dove on Russia, but the actual legislation that he signs into law and the actual war footing that's being implemented are clearly aligned against Russia. You're sleepwalking right into his trap, he's tricked people into thinking he wants to make peace with Russia when the reality is that he's preparing for even more war.
Stop listening to Trump's words and start paying attention to what he actually does.

Trump is consistently attacking all of Russia's allies: Assad is gone, Maduro is gone, now Khameni is gone. He's also forced the rest of NATO to increase their contributions while doing nothing to reduce US funding, making it stronger than ever.
And I'm supposed to believe this is part of Russia's master plan? It beggars belief.
What it actually looks like is Trump is preparing for a more direct confrontation with Russia, as the feather in his cap for his legacy. He wants to be remembered as the "greatest president ever" and secure himself alongside other American empire builders, and in his mind that means crushing all of the US's enemies and finally wiping Russia off the map.
My main concern is that she does not center the Iranian people as a reason to oppose the war. The war is bad to her because it puts US citizens and troops in danger, because it wasn't approved by Congress and so is unlawful, and because US wars don't ever actually create democracy. It's a very US-centric response, and she's a US politician so that makes sense, but we should demand she goes farther and condemns the killing of Iranians and condemns the violation of Iranian sovereignty.
Now is exactly the time when we should be demanding the strongest condemnations from our electeds and not letting them off the hook. It's our job to push our electeds to be better, and part of that means holding them accountable for their public statements.
Also we wouldn't have to keep forking over extra money so that the insurance company can make profits.
