  • I water them about half as much as the tomatoes unless it's super hot outside and they start getting wilt-y, then they can have some extra. The downside, of course, is you get fewer peppers this way.

Also I was just mincing that ghost up for a couple burritos and licked my fingers to make sure it's a spicy and OH YE

  • Oh oh me too me too!

I think spiciness has to do with how much water they get - more water, less spicy.

  • You can just play a different game. It's a toy. This shit doesn't matter.

  • I haven't watched a movie in ten years. Or TV show. Or a video longer than 15 minutes.

It's just not one of my hyperfixations. It's different for other people, as this thread demonstrates.

  • That's optimistic. I suspect a normie hearing "proletariat" won't even know what it means enough to be put-off by it. It'll just be incomprehensible jargon, like hearing techies talk about computer parts.

  • Animal Farm wasn't real. It was literally made up to trick you into not supporting revolution.

  • No, the 2nd Amendment was so slave owners could keep their slaves under control and so settlers could exterminate the natives.

The instant anyone started using those guns for non-approved uses the government takes them away, like when Reagan disarmed the Black Panthers.

  • Their logic is "women are cattle that exist to breed" and so there's literally no argument in favor of abortion you can ever make.

The only thing that ever convinces them is if a woman becomes a person to them, so perhaps a daughter or other family member, and so they're able to justify her abortion because she's a person. This will never be applied to a woman they don't know.

  • They charged people with terrorism for using Signal chat.

  • The US's origin as a settler-colony shines through with how its legislature is set up, it effectively gives land a vote. A few settlers in the great state of Nowhere have as the much more populated coastal states.

  • Was there anyone operating under the illusion that it was bulletproof?

Like, a lot of people? They treat their Constitution like a sacred text instead of something that should have been scrapped and rewritten after the Civil War.

  • This is what settlers have always done. Do you think settlers in North America didn't abduct indigenous people?

  • Well of course, the problem is that the law exists to punish poor people. I'm just saying, fines could be made into something devastating.

For instance, they have to pay everything upfront or their company is sold off to pay the fine.

  • Okay, but that sounds like something entirely different, it sounds like they're cutting corners to do less work.

New recruits understand their job doesn't matter and they shouldn't put in any more effort than they have to, it's the older people that think being an engineer is something to be proud of and put in the effort. What you're observing is engineers treating their jobs the same as every other worker, because this is how everyone without a college degree has been for decades.

But that's distinct from someone who struggles with counting to ten, which can only be described as a disability.

  • Actually I'm someone that has a panic disorder. Instead of getting reasonable accomodations, I'm punished for having panic attacks. I'm sure the boomers think it's because I'm a weak-minded young person or whatever.

    But go off.

  • I dunno, a €890 trillion fine would be good too. Bankrupt their company.

  • They get standardized training which does not accommodate their special needs and doesn't train them for what to do when they have special needs that are not being reasonably addressed by their workplace.

  • Not having primaries has consequences too. 🙄

Somehow, consequences only apply to voters, never to politicians.

  • I know a great way to get kids to stop doing something!

    Tell them it isn't allowed.

    🤡
