Yes, but there is also an archive version posted.
Yes, they are a marketing technique, but I don't know of any other legal way to share them. Please give me any ideas you may have. Thanks.

Yes, and it is very positive that prominent human rights groups agree and document it. These reports can be used to pressure governments, universities, etc. to divest from Israel and to stop sending arms, software, etc. to Israel.
The main point that I "got" is that you like to rant using lots of capital letters. (And I know that it is genocide, but understanding that is not absolutely necessary to act in favor of Palestine. Look at Bernie Sanders - he is a very critical, liberal Zionist, yet his actions in the Senate and his speeches have helped, not hurt, the Palestinian cause, in spite of his refusal to call it genocide.)
I agree that posting this without any clarifying critical comments was a mistake. But I still think it was worth posting for the reasons I stated in another post.
Yes, that's true, but I thought that a pro-Israel Jewish US publication having an opinion piece favorable to Gaza was worth sharing. It helps to break down the demonization of Palestinians that is so widespread in the US.
It's not an article that will give someone brilliant insights into the reality of Zionism, but it helps create space for discussion with a broader set of people.
Right, and he just bought the book a few days ago. Highly unlikely that he will change anything. But I posted this because it might be useful for those of us who know people still sitting on the fence. This article could be something that they would read.
Public opinion in the Western countries has shifted a lot against Israel, but we still need to educate more people, and mobilize them against Israel's genocide.
Maybe we don't, but there are still many people who aren't convinced yet, and Amnesty International producing a very solid document will likely help convince them.
Sorry for the late reply.
Yes, I agree that the fact the 3 Squad members stayed firm is very important. (I have supported Rashida here in Michigan since 2018.)
But up until recently AOC was good on the basics of the right to oppose Israel and on Israel's war on Gaza, even though she was late to call it genocide. (But when she finally did, she gave a very powerful speech in Congress on it.)
But since she is so significant in US politics now, it was a real blow to Palestine solidarity for her to retreat on this. This in addition to the flattering and false speech about Harris at the DNC in Chicago, and her Instagram event on anti-Semitism, in which only pro-Israel viewpoints were expressed.
You should look at my post history a little harder. I have posted a lot on Palestine, and very few have centered on Harris. I consider the election choices very painful for anyone who wants to keep Trump out while not supporting an administration which is clearly collaborating in a genocide with Israel. Most likely I will hold my nose and vote for Harris, but I'm not sure yet. If I don't, I would be voting for Jill Stein.
You mean the reaction (downvotes) in the .world instances, right?
I think the contrast reflects the real diversity of opinions, and not lack of stamina. Of course I am disappointed with the downvotes and the hostile comments to anything that might oppose Harris. But the level of discourse in Lemmy is a lot better than Twitter, FB, etc.
So I'm going to keep posting these to as many communities as I can. :-)
