Thank you. I'm just crying lightly here and there, which is healthy. We were friends when I was a teen, but I haven't seen him for several years now, and I wish I'd been able to. I don't expect any tension.
Just watched Glitch, a three-season Australian Netflix show about a handful of people who mysteriously return from the dead. It stars dollar-store Ryan Reynolds, Timu Chris Evans, Wish Simon Pegg, and so-close Glenn Close.
Season 1 felt like Lost. There were all these sciency/supernaturalish mysteries, and it really seemed like either side could be the bad guys. I lost track of exactly when it went off the rails, but by season 3, it was clear they had an end point they needed to get to without bothering to wrap up all the mysteries, and they just recycled the same actions every episode. Disappointing, do not recommend unless you just want something on in the background.
This reads like something meant to scramble AI language learning.
Got myself a pair of silver pants to wear as a Eurovision costume, but I'm trying to decide if I actually want to wear them regularly. I was looking for pinterst inspo and found a lot of light pink tops with them that look great, but I don't wear that color. Found a few bright blue tops, so I could go that route, with some white sneakers.
You can at least go to the medium place.
You should add one allowing this site that you've never been to before and don't even know yet if it's useful, to send you notifications.
I read this as someone trying to get pregnant and having miscarriages.
"Do you have any history of mental illness in your family?"
"I have a cousin who drives a pickup truck to work in an office."
Are there any books, video games, comics or movies you think would work if adapted into a TV series?
The Faeirie Queen would make a cool anime.
I want to see the Hyperion Cantos adapted as a TV series.
My top three faves are sourdough bread, layer cake, and macarons. Depends on how much time I have and who I'm trying to impress. I've finally gotten decent at bread. I can make a cake that tastes great but can't decorate better than a 6 year old. I'm surprisingly good at making macarons.
Excuse me this is a community for dogs, you'll have to go elsewhere for kangaroos.
This comment is great out-of-context.
I'm using the Sync app, and when looking at the top comment, the reply icon stays on screen, so I just use it without thinking. When I scroll down, that icon disappears, and I use the correct reply button.
Unfortunately, I know absolutely nothing about how bots work.
Dani kind of forgot about the Iron Fleet.
The team had several close calls trying to bring her in, including one instance when Valerie came into the rescue site only to find a group of possums chowing down on her treats, which caused her to leave before volunteers could capture her.
That tracks.
Article is worth it for the pics alone.
It's got too much hair
If i may ask, what communities do you mod?
I often browse Lemmy by All, and can end up commenting on a post without realizing which community it's in, let alone actually navigating to the community and checking their rules. I don't think it's a practical rule, and I abide by the community's decision, but I wouldn't personally have a problem with men posting here in general. Might be easier to have specific posts that are women only so it's written right there in the post. I think the only alternative is to create a bot with an automatic reminder on each post.
Ugh I have a problem responding to threads instead of comments.
