  • Should be done everywhere and for everyone. Can you imagine a society where you don't have to work just to be able to live? The projects you would pursue, how way less power would bad managers and bosses have? It would also help decentralization from big cities as people wouldn't be forced to move there to get jobs.

Also I never realized the toll finances were taking on my stress and mental health until I reached some kind of financial stability. No one should have to endure that much stress just to be able to live.

  • Yeah, while I understand the move, it feels like an open road to go back to making a fortune for the drop shippers which pisses me off. Also I'm not at ease with the fact that it explicitly target only China

  • I wonder if this will allow only to consumers or will also target dropshippers. Because it the citizen has to pay more while dropshippers still enjoy their shitty practices, it doesn't look great...

  • Oh that's why I couldn't find it on Steam T_T

  • Kinda like it, it made me finally start to read the book, I'm halfway through it!

  • Was expecting the remake to finally get to know the original game... The husband is a fan and I tried to play it but couldn't get over the graphics and gameplay. Don't know if I should force myself to go through or just wait.

  • Love the art style, reminds me of Caravan SandWitch, feels cozy!

  • Big Inception vibes, really looking forward to this one as I loved Control but didn't like Alan Wake 2 that much

  • Curious about this one, even from apart BG3, I wasn't quite seduced by other games from the IP

  • And get rid of its predators... I'm always so sad to see my friends working in the game industry so exploited, fired without a thought, all to benefit greedy executives who never played a single game in their lives...

  • I'm so happy for them, the emotions this game brought to me were absolutely unique, its approach on grief was so beautiful. And can't forget the music that I keep humming for the last months...

  • I've got a plush doggie that my grandmother gave me when I was around 3, he never left me, still got him at 38 years old. His eyes were changed along the years as I kept on losing them, but it's still a reminder of all those years and of her. He sits on the shelf in front of my bed, so even know he's always watching me

  • Me every time I have a look at the news…

  • Oh my I finally gave it a try inspired by your comment, and perfect 90 FPS in Diablo IV, I'm astonished

  • Finished Pokémon Z-A and loved it, now giving a try to the remake of Raidou: The Mystery of the Soulless Army! Curious about it as it seems to be in the same universe as Persona and the likes

  • Not available on the App Store in my country sadly

  • It’s sweet they still speak of the US as an ally

    Giving It a Try

I tried to read Stephen King several times across the years and I don’t know, it never worked. Tried his short stories, the different genres he wrote, … a bit of everything. It frustrated me a bit because I loved every single adaptation from his work in TV show or movie form.

As I started watching It:Welcome to Derry, I got an itch to give him another chance as I really wanted to get to finally know the whole story behind. And I don’t know what changed, perhaps I got older and my taste changed, but I’m speeding through It and I absolutely love it, I can’t let go of the book!

I’m just surprised how taste can evolve across time. Might give a chance to several authors I never liked when I was younger!

  • Learned about this today, was mainly on lemmy.ml because lemmy.world was blocking too much instances -_- Now trying piefed.social
