I have signal and it's great. I don't know too many people that use it, but my family very close friends use it. But I need kind of a discord server structure with channels and categories and element and revolt seems to do just that. I'm not gonna use revolt after I found out they were involved in crypto + the app is a bit too early in development for me. Element seems to be the most promising when it comes to organising server wise.
I’m not trying to be «that guy» at least I hope I’m not. I tried to see if they are willing to, but it seems like they aren’t that interested in switching. I guess I’ll just have to live with that.
Guess I wasted 2 hours translating their services to Norwegian for nothing. Thanks for this info. I’ll get to deleting my account.
Revolt is quite early in development so I wouldn’t recommend fully switching just yet, it’s open source so you can help contribute to them on their GitHub page. I try to stay away to stuff I don’t fully know can be trusted. I haven’t heard of session but I think it doesn’t quite matter where I get them to switch, but if I can get them to switch at all.
