  • I just think it’s great that they integrate at all. They’re such different forum layouts that there’s no really sensible way to do it – but on a good day, posts can be seen, with threaded comments, and that’s great especially if you want to follow a specific user.

    I love that communities appear as special users who just sit there all day boosting posts from other people. A creative way of blending the two paradigms.

  • Never had the sort of shenanigans you’re talking about, but there’s definitely been a decline in service – late deliveries, posties racing the clock, and a general sense of perpetual crisis.

    Homemade pizza is something else though. Love a nice thin and crispy margherita straight from the oven.

  • I’ll usually link new posts on Mastodon, and besides that I’ll send links to individual people who I think might be interested.

    It’s not something I try to promote widely – more to share my own thoughts with people I know.
