  • Fart PTSD. What a concept! Glad you survived it.

  • The hiring process has moved further and further from the company and is controlled by a bunch of middle-man companies who found a niche and made an industry out of it. No wonder hiring has become more expensive and riskier for a corp.

  • Thankfully the youth can see bullshit much more clearly than those entrenched within.

  • I often use "/s". Listen, it's up to you to separate the wheat from the chaff.

  • I remember that one from my youth, "The Boys Who Cried 25th Amendment".

  • The stock market? Does that even mean anything anymore with respect to value? To me it's a dead husk that has been raped time and time again.

  • I totally agree. We now have the communication and computing ability to manage resources effectively for the whole globe.

  • Each and every one of us values ourselves differently. Take what you can get, I guess? You don't need to prove anything to me, just yourself.

  • Might be a good idea if I'm having a debate. I'm just internet quipping, nothing more.

  • I was wondering if you'd latch onto that and ignore everything else. Maybe we're testing each other.

  • You've gotta have some faith in your ability to think. There is no evidence that the sun will come up tomorrow, but the world keeps spinning. If I sip on a Slurpee, but don't have a receipt, do you believe your eyes, or do you need the receipt? By the way, pretty well all of Science is based on well-reasoned guesses, then the move towards the truth of the guess is refined over time. Confirmation of facts is a good thing, but not always necessary, according to the universal "walks like a duck" rule. As far as sucking on toes? That says more about you than it does about evidentiary verification.

  • Frosted? That hair was dipped completely, several times.

  • Because of this donny no longer wants to be king of the Kennedy Center.

  • Sometimes all you need is to think your way through by reasoning. Some things are self-evident.

  • "Fuck Ford, fix or repair daily! It's Chevrolet all the way. Dodge Chrysler ain't bad though.". The same conversations from the past still live in the future, only the focus has shifted, with added suspicion that didn't exist before.

  • Ah yes, the old selling yourself for more riches and even more dignity. Go money! /s Now let's talk basic universal income. That one is a no-brainer that would solve a lot of social ills.

  • Vance's opinion is that of Peter Thiel and he is told what to say. Not sure why he keeps getting a soapbox to stand on, I guess it's the media billionaires offering up a megaphone for a minion that walks and talks like them. Traditionally, his type of blather is not a function of the vice-presidency.

  • Is the real hope that AI will be a subscription service? Those subscription billionaires ain't got a clue. Let's change "At some point you've got to make money" to "At some point you've got to add value".

    1. It's not a bad thing to be a diplomat and a statesman. 2. Isn't most Canadian media owned by the usa billionaire crowd?
