I agree with you but lots of people need general, vague direction that is wholly questionable in it's truth. It's something they can sink their teeth into and believe wholeheartedly! /s
It blew me away because there was nothing on television like it at the time. Twenty years later I bought the gold Twin Peaks DVD collection and didn't get more than halfway through the first season. Not because it was bad the second time around, but because it was so good the first time around I remembered everything about it.
American tech companies will be shunned very soon. Their existence is not to produce good tech for people but to gain power over them and extract as much capital as possible. That shit won't wash for too long.
Every child throughout history got up to secret exploring when they were out of their parents control. This happens to good parents and bad parents alike. It's natural for children to explore the world and be curious about it's dark corners. While we need parental supervision, we also need societal control. It takes a village to raise a child.
Somewhat. Reversing a lot of policies and respecting allies again will go a long way, but it's going to take some time. New pathways have already been forged that will leave the usa somewhat excluded and behind. They will be a diminished nation from what they once were, and that would be a good thing, as they no longer shared any values with most of the rest of the world. trump is nothing more than the lipstick on the pig that has become "america".
You can't, if you live in this connected tech world. The best bet is to become a plumber and join a local slo-pitch league, live a simple life, raise a family, and try your best to ignore all the bullshit. Nobody needs to hop on the wire unless they want to. If things get out of hand though you may have to eventually take a stand.
Based on what I see when I look around I will continue to believe that all big exes everywhere do not earn their grotesquely huge "bonuses". They live in a society. They sell to members of society. They do not serve society. They serve shareholders only.
