Hahah that is a good point, but my viewpoint here (drunk and everyone else is already snoring) is that it is better to have loved than to be afraid like I've been. Lol. If it makes sense :)

Me when I've had 14 beers in a lan party with my mates and one of them is expecting their first child, one has an 8mo old baby and one is divorced, but at least I've had 14 beers (this is today and I'm 34 and wtf am I doing with my life lmao) thanks for letting me share xoxo

Long-time iOS user considering switch to Android - Need advice on $1000 flagships

I was Android user ever since from version 2.3 or so, but last 5 years I've been using an iPhone. I'm a bit curious what makes you consider switching? With the direction Google seems to be taking Android nowadays, I don't see any reason to switch back.

edit: I see you've answered this already elsewhere - personally my experience with iPhone has been nothing but stable and boring, which I like. I don't want to fiddle that much around with my systems anymore lol

IIRC that might have been the reason I previously disregarded the idea of trying Usenet. However if it's not on Usenet, one can always fall back to torrents :p Haven't had to do that yet. *knocks on wood*

Yeah there was a lot of ~~googling~~ duckduckgoing at first. In my case I decided to start out with NewsHosting as provider and nzbgeek as indexer. So far so good

Hahah I was gonna come mention Usenet but glad you already did.

A month ago I was frustrated waiting on some torrent and decided to finally give Usenet a try. All I gotta say is - why didn't I do this switch years ago???
