As a Dutchman living in Germany I can attest to the immense difference that dubbing makes. While even young children in the Netherlands consume tons of English language media and have done so for decades, their peers in Germany generally get only dubbed versions. This leads to a lackluster immersion when "properly" learning English.
Supporters have marched in protest at a number of Premier League grounds. It’s not hard to see why they believe their game is being taken away

Jonathan Wilson elegantly describes why many, myself included, have been falling out of love with modern football, little by little. The best part of the article describes it really well, in my opinion:
"Those traditional fans have gradually seen the sport their families have perhaps supported for generations change. (...) Lip service is paid to fans and their devotion, but increasingly they are exploited and marginalised and their importance to the club is diminished."
Das ist eine gute Idee; merke ich mir!
Liverpool have signed a multi-year kit deal with Adidas believed to be worth £60m-a-season

Although this is most likely not at all a political decision, it's great to see Liverpool go for a European kit provider. It's only fitting that Europe's (arguably) currently strongest team will play in outfits designed and provided by a European company.
Arsenal were unable to build on Declan Rice’s equaliser and were then thankful for David Raya’s saves as they hung on for a 1-1 draw at Manchester United

United unexpectedly managed to get a draw from their match against Arsenal. Ruben Amorim had announced that his team "just need to survive" before the match, following Arsenal's thrashing of PSV in the Champions League earlier in the week. Surprisingly, survive they did and even took a point from the currently second best team in the League.
Thanks for compiling the data. I suspect the data could be heavily skewed by the different employment models of the clubs. Some likely opt to cover many functions with in house staff while others probably prefer outsourcing various duties. Does this model account only for staff of the "football company"; does it include subsidiaries like club TV stations and the like?
Some of these really stretch the definition of what I'm comfortable with as "Pizza"
While I agree with you that it was a very wise decision by the Général to retain an independent nuclear deterrent and develop modern aircraft independently, the French tank development has been sorely lacking. There are roughly five times as many Leopard IIs in service as there are Leclercs. I hope the joint development of a next generation tank can deliver, as European armies really should try to work towards a common and independent development of systems.
