Just a stern but friendly rabbit furry working as a technical writer, learning germanic languages, gaming on Linux, interested in social psychology, fandom studies, locked-room mysteries and programming. Cis, gay, kinky, pm-friendly, single.
You'll probably need to send a ticket to sysadmin to have that issue sorted out.
In that section, if you click the button to configure the Mouse Mark effect, you can see the shortcuts for clearing Mouse Mark:
- Clear last mouse mark: Super + Shift + F12
- Clear all mouse marks: Super + Shift + F11
Which open source mascots do you find cool?
For reference, here's a few incomplete lists:
- https://www.linuxfoundation.org/blog/open-source-symbolism-exploring-the-stories-behind-linux-foundation-project-mascots-and-logos
- https://online.supertuxkart.net/addons.php?type=karts
A few that I don't see in the lists are:
- llvm dragon: https://llvm.org/Logo.html
- buildah pug: https://buildah.io/
- podman seal: https://podman.io/
- openSUSE gecko: https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Artwork_brand#Logo
Correct. The requirements are:
- put a link to the community anywhere in a Mastodon toot and a post is automatically generated on Lemmy
- the first line becomes the title/headline
- additionally, a recent change in Lemmy removed Markdown formatting from headlines, so instances that are sufficiently up-to-date will have links and hashtags show up as literal text instead of links: https://pawb.social/comment/1624631
Ah. This was merged two weeks ago. https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/pull/1977
So the issue isn't that Pawb doesn't have it enabled, it's that Lemmy's new versions lost it and KDE's instance hasn't updated to the broken versions yet.
Pawb.Social doesn't seem to have Markdown enabled for post titles
When I visit, for instance, https://pawb.social/post/1768987, I can't see the title formatted in Markdown. However, https://lemmy.kde.social/post/60846 shows up correctly (aside from the last cut part).
I'm curious. M/M furry games are lovely, but what sort do you want to make?
Can't say I liked it tbh 🤔
Button icons and positioning were generally more sensible though. That made a huge difference.
Stay with one of the big boys: Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE, then you're golden. For NVIDIA users I guess I'd still recommend something Ubuntu based: Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Pop_OS!, etc because the drivers can be preinstalled.
On Fedora you need to install the NVIDIA drivers from rpmfusion, and on openSUSE you need an additional repo. It's an extra step, but otherwise I'd strongly recommend one of these two.
