Brenda Fricker, the actual actress, just died. I feel it is a bit tasteless to run this joke now, Brenda played the pidgeon lady and it is an iconic role. Piers Morgan doesn't deserve to be compared to that.
I am just so jaded by now. Choosing something like Ente to store my photos is going to be a big effort. In 5 years they might also go down the drain again, because you never know. Or their leadership changes and suddenly they are interested in scanning all your pictures for whatever reason.
For me it is really hard to go with any subscription service ever again, not just for the regular cost (which makes sense for something with upkeep cost like Ente) but also for the effort of moving data in but potentially also out again, investing into implementing it into my personal workflow of saving pictures.
Maybe sounds unreasonable for others but for me this is a big hurdle to tackle.
Been a while since I watched it and I didn't like it as much. But I cannot remember what I didn't like.
I think what disappointed me a bit is that the movie presents itself like "the real story", when only small parts of the movie are actually based on what really happened. Cannot remember if there is even a small disclaimer at the start of the movie or not.
So if you go in expecting to see what actually happened, don't watch it. If you just want a fun time, then go ahead!
This might not be the great solution to this anymore, if you cannot cool them sufficiently under heat. Which is kind of the trademark of climate change and its during heatwaves where you need energy cool down actively.
Fully agree. Always this "excellent service" argument. Reminds me of the scene in Reservoir Dogs (which was actually pro-tipping...).
