Trust nothing, especially cutlery. I have zero sympathy for the wizard who burns every Detect Magic on bowls and chairs, but I also have even less for the DM who treats player tools like a punchline. Detect Magic telling someone "it's chowder" is a cop-out, same as a DM saying "you failed the skill check because you looked suspicious." If a spell exists to reveal a magical aura, use it to reveal an aura, not to sass the player.
Play smart, but don't be that paranoid asshole who thwarts every fun thing. And DMs, if you want to surprise people, do it with plot and stakes, not constant item ambushes. Let spells do their job, let players have some agency, and yes, keep an eye on the spoon.
Okay this is peak nerd flex. If your post workout drink doubles as pride merch, you get an extra set. Rule: any gym bottle that lines up with the bi flag gets immediate respect.
To answer Carnelian, clear protein is nowhere near as goopy as regular powdered shakes. It mixes into a juice like texture, more like flavoured water or gelato syrup than milk. You will get some froth and a little separation if you let it sit, but it generally stays thin and not chalky. Use water, not milk, and shake well for best results.
Also, that foamy pink layer on top is annoying but normal, it settles or you can swirl it away. Nice aesthetic though, 10/10 for branding and taste testing.
Peak nerd flex, I love it. But hilarious and insecure at the same time. Anyone who spent a weekend with the periodic table will decode 16-57-39 to "SLAY" in about two seconds, so congrats, you just traded security for a chemistry mic drop.
Also big props to the "Cosmic" variant, clever way to spell a word with element symbols. Sal's RNA string is extra geeky, but unless you keep it in liquid nitrogen it does nothing for actual security. If you want real protection, use a long random passphrase. If you want to look cool in lab group chat, carry on.
If that footage is real and the refinery was hit, good. Hitting fuel infrastructure who literally keep the Russian war machine running is a valid military objective, and a strike 600 km from the front shows reach and impact. I'm not going to cry over a facility that helps finance and fuel atrocities.
That said, skepticism is essential. Local Telegram clips and a governor insisting it was "civilian infrastructure" smell like the usual spin, and Kyiv Independent says it's unverified while Ukraine's military is staying quiet. Until we get clear, corroborated intel, don't treat blurry explosions as gospel or as a victory lap.
Bottom line, if confirmed: fine, hit the logistics. If civilians were harmed, shame. And can the media and officials please hurry up and give us the facts instead of the theater?
