  • I'm forever privileged to have been part of the crowd that got to know and experience the internet as it developed.

It was a much more colorful and sociable world. It was also a lot quieter, because people mostly kept to themselves and the internet wasn't 24/7.

  • It's been a reality for quite a while. It's hard to pinpoint when exactly we started seeing these, but I reckon to guess they didn't start being a thing until the mid-2010s. We've had bots before on the internet, but they were regulated to being more like assistants like on IRC channels or chat rooms. Where their purpose was to be greeters or handle tasks the moderator needed to be automated.

  • Sorry bruh, but I don't think you've taken a closer look at where the RAM prices have gone. Do you truly believe people have that much disposable income to continually upgrade entire machines on a regular basis?

People will ultimately build a system if it will suit their needs and purposes within budget. I don't get what is there about that to get so complicated over.

  • Matrix Reloaded.

Actually, people didn't like both Reloaded and Revolutions. I think with what the lore was going with, they served the series right. I just think people had a hard time following what they were about.

    I can't defend Resurrections though.

  • People play games at their own pace. You have your own and there isn't a shred of shame in that.

  • High School diploma. I just simply knew how horrible my schooling has gotten up until graduating, that going to college wasn't an option even if I wanted to. Extended education is not entirely off the table for me, it's just a matter of getting in position to deal with what costs if any, comes from it.

  • What do you mean "they actually listened to the community"? If they'd listen to the community, there'd be NO AI whatsoever.

  • I had a double take on that number they're asking for.

$13 Trillion? Geez, fucking greedy much? Not that they haven't been greedy before, but we're used to seeing millions and billions that are asked per track (technically they'd ask ridiculous sums of like $10,000 ~ even $100,000 per track in the past). But this just glaringly demonstrate how greedy these fucks really are and they just gotta tell everyone about it.

I still say it was dumb of Anna to bother with Spotify but I like the defiance of just not caring.

  • Everything is disposable. I don't think you or the author who wrote that article has a clue. It's a matter of getting things that'll last longer than others do and making financially wise choices and purchasing decisions based on the needs of the moment.

Like, I'm not spending $5 on a toothbrush when you need to replace it every 30 days, I buy the cheapest toothbrush I can afford to replace it with since they're all equally made. I will spend some more money on a computer component if I feel it will have a positive increment on my entire system. Replacing my entire system would just set me back big and it would make me waste the components that are already inside that are still good. Plus, if I decide to sell the old system, I'm not going to get a good value back.

The only thing I've yet to replace is the case. Why? Because it's still serviceable to me.

I just don't get this stupid logic where you have to replace the entire system. For what? just to be with the in-crowd of current technology trends? No thanks, I'll build my PC based on what I want out of it.

  • Jeb wouldn't have been any different, he'd just be more professional about it. So we'd be professionally fucked than chaotically fucked.

  • I'm sorry but this isn't my life, lol.

  • What isn't a good look is you dictating how a conversation should go. Maybe go back to your basement, nobody asked you to talk.

  • Legalizing it wouldn't fix the bad shit prostitution has working in the background. It's like the porn industry, too many bad apples and giving them legalization is like giving them sanction.

Lol, everyone just wants to coom in someone and pay someone else to allow them doing it, that's the real thing here.

  • By years, you mean, 2 years.

You can't just expect games to be on sale for deep discounts within 1 - 2 years or even 3 years of it being released. It sucks, I know, but that's how it is. You're forced to either wait 5 - 10 years or just make the jump to buy it as it is after some savings and when you're able to.

  • Same. I have spent years building my game libraries just for stupid shit like this.

  • Dude, read the rules before posting this shit. This is not an open ended question.

  • And then there are games that have big worlds that is simply too exhausting to even cover. Minecraft is that. Me and a friend have boxed ourselves an already large section. I even built very long minecart trails and riding them enough puts me to sleep. It's just too big of a world.

  • I didn't know Fall Guys got bought out. But then again, that was a flavor-of-the-week kind of game where streamers tried to care, then moved on and Fall Guys became irrelevant.
