Is therapy worthwhile?
Hello,
Lately I have been overwhelmed with my schedule, finances and social life. I am always trying to improve my mental health. With all of this stress I am considering therapy, mainly for someone to talk, to process all my thoughts, and maybe help me develop ideas or come up with strategies to cope better. I have ADHD, Autism, and some other things if that helps anyone relate.
I have three main questions:
Has therapy helped you enough to be worth the time?
Is it very difficult to find a therapist you mesh with?
How do I find a therapist? From a doctor's referral? Online service? Through insurance? (I live in the United States.)
Any experience or advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
Edit: I just wanted to thank everyone for your help and support! I hope everyone is doing well and has seen positive changes. And I hope all these replies help other people besides myself. I'm feeling more positive and hopeful toward finding the right therapist. Your kindness is appreciated!
For some reason I can't click on your image link. Can you post it in the comments?
I actually added olive oil around the edges. I'm trying to get better at plating. It tasted good, but maybe overkill!
My first time making risotto!

I used this recipe and followed it exactly: https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/bas-best-risotto
Toppings: Sautéed cherry tomatoes with garlic Olive oil Balsamic glaze Black pepper
@bdonvr@thelemmy.club found the solution! Just needed to be installed from Chrome instead of Firefox.
Good idea, I didn't think about installing from another browser to change the native version's experience.
Edit: Installing it from Chrome worked! The icon actually shows the wefwef icon now too, which the Firefox app did not. Thank you!
I checked, and both the browser and local ones are the same version. Maybe future versions will fix the problem. Thanks for your help!
Does wefwef work better on your mobile browser than on the downloaded version for anyone?
I have read that downloading wefwef to your phone is a more stable user experience than on the browser version.
The main problem I am experiencing on the downloaded version is glitchy scrolling and slow loading of posts. On Firefox for Android everything seems fine. Has anyone else experienced this, or can someone explain why this may be?
Thanks!
This is probably the first show I have ever watched a second time immediately after the first watch.
I loved 'Forks' and seeing Ritchie grow.
I loved the visuals of all the fancy dishes throughout S2 and it made me look at cooking differently. It makes me want to create something incredible. I can't get the image of the dessert in Copenhagen that tasted like a 'Minty Snickers Bar' out of my head.
The last episode was so stressful with Carmy's predicament, but I kinda loved it. But the last scene with Claire stressed me out so much. It was good writing, but I can't wait for it to be resolved one way or another!
