I don't want to escalate this discussion. It was just an idea of maybe putting it also on PeerTube without force, expectations or demands.
I get that point but I don't say "you should" but rather "you could". Also I think the example you give is a bit different because here we have someone (an individual) who took his time to create something which is different to other people sharing additional info.
Some platforms are dead but we can change that. If more people post on a "dead" platform it will get alive. I also feel that some communities are missing but we can also change that. If you scroll endlessly then maybe try to be on maybe just some social media platforms. I really like Lemmy and hope you will also like it in the future.
I don't think if that comes through that they will have it easier to bust criminal activity. If someone wants to hide in the internat they can. The internet isn't a country where you can setup rules. Of course can they get access to messaging apps like Whatsapp or Signal but for communities that aren't a company won't that work out. They can't just make end-to-end encryption ilegal. If they stop Signal or Whatsapp feom end-to-end encrypting many people will go to services that do that and can't be controlled by governments.
Maybe people in Western Europe started buying Europeen cars instead of Chinese or American ones. But they unfortunatly don't explain the reason in the article.
I don't want to force my ideas on people, I like to share and chat about them but I feel if I upload it myself I would kind of force the idea. Also it is his video I think he should be in control of where it is posted.
No I can't unfortunetly. I don't have an account on PeerTube because I couldn't find content on there that would have interested me. But if you post your video I would probably look into to make me an account and give you a like.
Of course it works but isn't this community about the fediverse? I have the feeling that some of the fediverse services don't get used enough to be useable, like PeerTube. Another point is when we are already in the ecosystem of the fediverse with beeing on Lemmy why should we post media ment for the fediverse outside from it? Isn't the idea of fediverse to be an alternative to YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram and the others? Don't get me wrong here, my intention is not to criticize someone. I only thought it could be a good oppertunity to promote another fediverse service.
Why not post it on PeerTube? We need more content there. Could have been a good and sneaky oppertunity to promote another fediverse product. Still a good and helpful video.

Why is it dumb? I joined not too long ago and didn't know that it was already discussed.
With Sennheiser you will get good build quality and good sound. The Accentum look really good. Maybe look out for Bluetooth or cable for gaming, I really like Bluetooth but maybe not all devices work with it. I would recommend looking out for some other opinions than mine but I would say the Accentum are a good and save call.
You do nothing wrong with Sennheiser. I used the Sennheiser 450BT for some years and I'm now using the 350BT for listening to music on public transport. Those are both pretty good but I wouldn't recommend them for gaming. In general is it a brand that sells high quallity headphones but not specificly for gaming. Their prices are usually quite high. You get high quality for a high price.
Maybe put the Iceland and the other islands closer together. In my opinion is it not a good idea to put the map over the stars. I would make the map smaller and put it behind the stars if they overlap but they really shouldn't. Besides that does it look really good, keep going.
China manufactures most of the products from US companies. As we also see now, Chinese companies promote the idea of buying from the manufacturer directly instead of the middle man like "Why buying the Nike shoes for 80$ if you can get them from us for 5$."
When do people realize that this is really concerning. If they don't follow the law with their adds, why should they follow it with our data?
Many people don't want to get into the topic that much, they wan't it accessable and easy to use. That's also the reason that many Big Tech firms can bring out products to get your data and sell it because those products are easy to use. If we want people to join our alternatives then we should make them accessable and not judge them for their disinterest in the details.
Danke für die Aufklärung, das wusste ich nicht. Aber wenn es eine Abstimmung gibt und niemand für die AfD stimmt ist das doch trotzdem demokratisch. Man kann das zwar so gehandhabt haben aber wenn sich die Zeiten ändern und man das nicht mehr macht es aber trotzdem noch dem demokratischen System folgt ist es doch legitim nicht für die AfD zu stimmen.
Sie können das schon so sagen: "Wir schließen die AfD nicht aus." Und daraufhin ihr trotzdem keinen Ministerposten geben. Wenn sie die Ministerposten unter sich, also CDU, CSU und SPD aufteilen, bekommt die AfD keinen ab aber wurde auch nicht im vorhinein "ausgeschlossen".
Wenn man davon ausgeht, dass es dabei bleibt, könnte es eine Verteilung nach der Formel 7/3/6 geben - CDU bekäme sieben Ministerposten inklusive des Chefs des Bundeskanzleramtes, die CSU drei und die SPD sechs.

Wieso macht man nicht einfach Abstimmungen mit den Personen aus allen Parteien auch den Grünen und der Linken und stimmt über die Ministerposten ab. Ich finde es auch dämlich, dass wenn die Regierung die Posten verteilt, nur die Regierung und nicht die Opposition Ministerposten bekommt. Aber wenn dann die AfD kommt und rumheult, dass man sie ja ausgeschlossen habe und deswegen einen Ministerposten bekommt, dann finde ich dazu auch keine Worte mehr wie idiotisch das ist.
