The one who is deluded is you. First, you definitely can't guarantee your kids will live in the same town as you when you are retired and need help. Second of all, having kids costs a shitload of money. This money you can use instead to build up savings so that later in your life you can afford to hire someone to take care of you.
I think the bigger issue whether you can actually sell stuff like that at the scrap yard if you don't have license or something else that proofs that you got ur scrap legitimately.
Yeah no that's not how the job market works, especially in this current economy. Why would anyone hire you when there are 1000 other applicants willing to work 40 hours per week, or even more?
I do have the privilige of working only 32 hours per week (4 day work week, but also only 80% pay) but that's because I am really lucky that my employer agreed to this; I originally started with 40 hours per week as well (although legally my employer had to agree anyway since I live in germany and employees have the right to reduce their hours).
My point is, this is not the norm. Usually you need to have really good and rare skills so that you can dictate the conditions of the contract. Otherwise, every company will just hire literally anyone else. There is always someone willing to work for less what you charge.
Europe can't do shit unless we cut ties with US tech. Reality is, we can't antagonize Pedonald too much, or he will cut us off. Companies and governments are still too dependent on Microsoft and other US tech. Without access to that, they would be fcked.
