As for my friend's trot tendencies, he claims we should own both Stalin and the deviationists, but has weird takes on Stalin. He says Trotskyism has been liberalized by people like Tony Cliff, and claims the true Trotskyism was argued in the Isaac Deutscher's "Trotsky" biography.
Trots are very strong here, searching for a true ML is like searching a needle in a haystack. I'm against sectarianism, but I'll admit some of their takes are annoying.
