Have you tried KdenLive ? I am learning Davinci and learned about Kdenlive froma com below. Wantzd to know your opinion

I think it s easier. Get a problem you want to solve > press buttons as best a syou can > get something working > congrats.

Then by doing you will learn how to get better.
