  • Let's not become sycophants to the ones who control it.

  • I know a lot of people in the comments don't like this. And they're perfectly valid. One solution doesn't work for everyone and it misses a lot of nuance.

That being said, I actually did something like this for my social anxiety, which was damn near debilitating. I had to constantly remind myself that none of what I'm doing is risky or dangerous. Im just gonna roll with the punches. And if I do something that I might cringe about later, fuck it. Do i really care about what strangers think? And if the people I do know are of any value, they won't chastize me for being a bit odd. So just own it.

This took years to get through. I basically brute forced myself through the social interactions until the anxiety was nowhere near as strong. I still have it, but my job forces me to talk to new people all the time. It got manageable. Maybe something like that could work for someone else.

This is not medical advice, and I strongly suggest you talk with a therapist if you have these issues. I was just too poor to do anything else about it.

  • Yes, am a literal toddler.

  • In order for a law to be effective, it must be enforced. It's simply just not being enforced, for Google.

  • Id love a linux based work laptop. Mine wouldn't let me click on anything on the desktop unless I also did an absurdly long reboot.

  • Thats because the people who voted for him the second time either don't know, or don't care.

  • How does one end up on the list...asking for a friend.

  • Its important to have all the context here. Children of poor families worked at these places, not wealthy people. It was a necessity for those families, or they wont eat. Its a systemic failure, not a parental one. Especially when they didn't have a choice.

  • There you go with that "we" word again. "We" didn't do anything.

  • Fuck yeah, same.

  • My sincerest condolences. The way he looks at you, you can tell he adored you. My boy also used to look at me and snuggle just like that, and I miss him every day.

  • Alright. I'll get right on that sweeping societal change I've been putting off.

  • The few I've seen during construction have a ton of AI cameras around the site at the perimeters. They already anticipate that.

  • You are so clever for pointing that out, and are absolutely correct! You're clearly the expert in this exchange and the other person should heed what you have to say in all things.

  • If two-thirds of a populace is opposed to something, and their government approves it anyway. Then their government is illegitimate.

  • But it could be.

  • Shame he was hardly in it. Theres a set of short prequel videos. One of them has a backstory for his character.

  • Never interrupt your opponent while he is in the middle of making a mistake.
