Can excessive jarring or vibration damage mechanical watches?
I bike as my primary form of commute / transportation, and whenever I hit a pothole or go over some particularly rough patches of road I worry that overtime this could damage the watch. Anyone have any insight into this? I did a bit of research and it seems like many watches these days have some sort of shock-resistance in the form of Incabloc or other technologies. But then I see posts like this which are worrying...
What do people use to track their reading?
As title. Even better if whatever you use also helps with recommendations! I’ve been mostly using Goodreads, but Bookwyrm looks like a neat decentralized alternative. Does anyone have any experience with it?
I’m crossing my fingers hoping they’ll eventually have the option for 3rd-person game play, similar to Skyrim (and Starfield!). It feels like a waste to spend time collecting cool clothing and armor, as well as customizing our character, only to see them occasionally in a mirror.
