  • Is that a bad thing? Knowing if you're gay or not in casual conversation is weird. It just means you guys are normal ass dudes who happen to have a different sexual preference, it isn't like some crazy defining factor or your life.

I think media pushes this narrative that unless you're covered in rainbow shit 24/7 and acting flamboyant you're secretly ashamed or something, which is total bullshit.

My mom is 73 and just married a woman 3 months ago, after being married to my dad for 25 years and being single for like 15 years. She definitely isn't ashamed because people don't instantly know she's gay, nor does she care. She owns a few pride things and that's about it. Because she's a normal woman who happens to have a different sexual preference. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being "normal" and gay.

  • I know this is going to be compared to Jim Crow lows and such to keep minorities from voting. But I think we seriously need to pass a basic skills test to vote. If they can't pass basic shit like name 5 states, what year was the declaration of independence sighned, ect basically super basic shit people should know then they shouldn't vote because there is no way they understand why they're voting for whoever or what they're voting for.

It's not even a conservative vs liberal argument, there are some seriously moronic people on both sides that need to be excluded. I honestly think we've cheated natural selection so long it's like Idiocracy.

  • I was thinking they were nice in letting you delete your browser history.

  • I mean he's kinda the number 1 target for the US too?

  • My Cheeto gives his approval.

  • When I was an elementary teacher I would have let this slide for sure. I would have explained next time I'll count it wrong though.

  • At least they left them at a pet store. It blows my mind that they wouldn't just talk to her first. Any pet store would take them, even, from a profit standpoint. Free $150 each.

  • Not really. China is trying to wage economical war with the world.

Chinese EVs are made by workers who live in cages and work 12+ hour days making $500/mo in a country that's only 80% cheaper than the US. IE $500 is like living off $650/mo in the US if your living expenses were paid (and your home was a cage coffin). You're basically an indentured servant because you can leave, but you'll be homeless because you can't save enough to live in the city.

Second, the CCP subsidize the shit out of EVs. Then sells them across the world.

These two things are designed to destroy the auto industry across the world. The sad thing is most people are to idiotic to realize it. They just go "I wAnT cHeAp EvS duurrr". Plus, at least domestic Chinese EVs are scary AF, they have an insanely higher rate of thermal runaway. You can have you cheap EV at the cost of helping destroy your domestic economy, just don't park that shit within 590 feet of my house.

  • Complaints?

Trunps already been impeached twice, you think be gives a flying fuck about your complaints? Dude is a lunatic.

That being said this is kind of a grey area. You're an illegal immigrant and you know ICE is in fucking psycho mode. Not that they should obviously die, but you're also knowingly putting yourself in the situation.

  • Sure they do....with downs 🤷‍♂️

  • I'm surprised China just doesn't say they created a better Starlink. The CCP lies/makes up about everything else so what's one more thing.

  • The problem is they won't clean anything up.

  • Laughed because I have a Chihuahua pit mix. It's like mixing a dog with the fury of 1000 suns with a big head and roided body. But he's damn cute and fun.

  • They also treat their animals like absolute shit, like they should be taken away bad.

  • VAT (Value Added Tax) is an indirect consumption tax levied on the value added at each stage of a product’s production and distribution chain.  Unlike a traditional sales tax, which is only collected at the final point of sale, VAT is applied at every step, from raw materials to the final consumer.

Businesses act as intermediaries by collecting output VAT from customers and paying input VAT on their own business expenses.  To determine their tax liability, businesses deduct the input VAT they have paid from the output VAT they have collected, remitting only the difference to the government.  This credit mechanism ensures that the tax burden ultimately falls on the end consumer, who cannot reclaim the VAT paid.

For example, if a manufacturer buys raw materials for $100 plus $10 VAT (input VAT) and sells the finished product for $150 plus $15 VAT (output VAT), they remit $5 to the government ($15 collected - $10 paid).  This process repeats at each stage, ensuring the government collects 10% of the value added at that specific step.

  • It's pretty well known China lies about their GDP, it's something close to half of what they claim. Most statistics from China are utter bullshit, they say they only had 60k COVID deaths and it's estimated at over a million in reality.

China is all about saving face, it's kinda like a toddler that lies about everything and everyone just goes "that's nice sweetie" while patting their head and they think everyone believes them.

  • I was a special education teacher in an inner city school district for 11 years. I started in high school my first year and then went to elementary the last 10. It was to weird being 22 teaching 17 year olds.

Anyways, did 3-4 for a couple years, then 5-6 a couple years, finished in k-1. I was diagnosed with kidney failure a few years ago and retired early because I'm on dialysis. I invested very well so I'm good financially, but I miss working with kids, not so much getting fucked over by the school district, but that's a wother thing.

  • Just randomly found DCC. I'm about 65% some truth the first one, it's hilarious.
