experienced this with BG3 on gog while my friends had the steam version, when it launched. Patches on gog were delayed by sometime a week, preventing us to play together.
I have debian stable with xfce on a 2014 laptop. Increasing the fonts size and using KDE connect for remote on the phone to control the whole thing. Works smoothly for video and internet, just what I need.
It's tedious when you need to run terminal commands so I have an SSH server running there too.
For gaming maybe you want to consider moonlight utility, to stream steam games from your gaming PC to your TV PC. It's decent for most games but forget competitive shooters.
I like to use https://searx.neocities.org/ It randomises your search across several searx instances. It's not always reliable as some instances are sometimes down or exceed request limit. But retrying often works. Worst case i use mojeek or ddg
A bit off topic here, but can I ask which digital store you'd recommend for buying music pls ? I know some of them only give back like 3% of the price to the artist. I wouldnt mind paying extra if it serves the artist. I'm interested in metal music of all kinds, if that's relevant.
Obligatory reply since that's exactly my specs too :P
It's for your safety. Nothing will be collected without your consent. Obedience is freedom. Marry and reproduce.
You got me at trust
Thanks for the reply. Tried again just now and it works indeed as advertised, sorry for the noise. Maybe because i removed it from my bookmarks (i tried that until i figured there's no shortcuts in mull). Or maybe some cache expired...
Anyway, it works indeed, thanks !
The bookmark doesn't seem to work for me on mull browser android. I've added the bookmark link as a search engine:
https://searx.neocities.org/#q=%s&category_general=on
But when i use it with "test" for example, without quotes, i'm just landing on the default page. The searched text doesn't appear in the searchbox.
Maybe i missed something ?
Been using eOS for more than 6months on my old onePlus phone. I'm quite happy with it, but i'm trying to keep my usage as frugal as possible. Their app lounge lets you access the appstore so you could do the same thing as with the pixel phone
What's your stance on e.foundation eos: https://e.foundation/e-os/
Its a degoogled android with several privacy focused features like integrated vpn, fake location, tracker counter. Their appstore is aurora+fdroid+pwa
The os still runs the google microG service though, so i'm not sure how it would do against a proper audit...
I like cookieless, but there's also the history saving part. So... "Forgetful" "Goldfish" "Uprooted"
