Genau das Gegenteil ist der fall, man will die Spannung so hoch wie möglich haben damit der Strom so niedrig wie möglich ist. Damit hat man geringste Verluste. Gleichrichter im MV Bereich wäre eine Katastrophe von der Effizienz her (ekologisch und technisch). Wenn wir nur Wechselstrom transformieren brauchst du simpel gesprochen nur Kupfer und n Eisenkern in öl gekühlt und hält für immer. Vielleicht gibt's Mal pläne mehr Gleichstrom zu nutzen wegen modernen Akkus aber ich glaube kaum dass irgendwo irgendein Netz darauf ausgelegt werden würde?
