I fail to see the problem. For privacy sublemmies especially it feels nice to have a redundant way of getting told about important stuff like this.
It's been a hot minute since I watched it as well, but I'd watch it almost religiously over and over for a while back then. Same with The Matrix and Office Space. All 1999 movies, huh..
Both are from Boondock Saints from 1999.
Directories routinely take mulitple seconds to load, and I don’t understand why.
Probably thumbnail generation, and I was going to say file indexing, but surely that runs in the background. Baloo in KDE is a lot less intrusive anyway.
I know it's late but this is the direct link to the thumbnail: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/cC1CqyCN9Q0/maxresdefault.jpg
Exactly: "Let's make something that removes the human decision making from the process.. Huh, it's evil?!"
As one commented below the article, "Recall too I bet".
It's like the dumbest anosmic sheep dog that'll just show the wolf the way to the sheep.
On the one hand I'm glad they're out of Europe. On the other, I'm sad they've evaded justice.
They speedran the enshittification process, so quickly the term wasn't even invented yet.
Only a decade late.. Luckily qBittorrent is brilliant. And if qBittorrent somehow wasn't an option, I might go with BiglyBT - it's not the easiest on the eyes, but lots of settings.
It's no surprise we'd see copycats after Luigi. I wonder if MSM will try and keep this off the air, sort of sweep it under the rug to prevent people getting any more good ideas.
I've never wanted to own sheet plate cutters more in my life after watching that clip of the fella from Ukraine show off that clever designed caltrop.
That sounds bad for business. Graph gotta go up! /s
I appreciate the correction. Thanks for your hard work on OpenMW ❤️
It's pretty much just Bing and Google no matter what engine you use nowadays. Well, unless you go with Yandex or chinese search engines: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_search_engines - Mojeek is a meta-search engine, but it also crawls the internet itself, which makes it very interesting.. I might give it a go.
True. Fake it till you make it as the flimflam fellas say.
I wonder if LLM companies will use that stamp as a way to identify original ideas they can scrape.
I'm surprised nobody has recommended Smart Video Wallpaper Reborn for KDE, but then again, it is an old thread. This is my favorite, it also allows for animated wallaper on the lockscreen.
I tried downloading it precompiled and it just complains about needing libsteam_api.so
. Gonna see if compiling fixes that..
Nah, too much faff, as I'm on fedora. I couldn't quite figure out the dependencies.
