  • They didn't make medicine out of that

  • I have a second monitor at the upper left of my primary one

  • I started doing that a few years ago. It's now part of my habits.

  • Matrix is FOSS, Synapse (Matrix server) is FOSS, bridges are FOSS. The only thing stopping most people is a server that can run 24/7

  • You login to your account with the bridge, so the bridge can pretend to be you.

  • I always look for joke-named instances for fediverse platforms. Guess what I landed on for Lemmy.

  • The Splatoon 3 player base had gone through this 4 months ago

  • You can set up bridges to link to your other messengers. Then you will only need Matrix to be able to reply to everyone.

  • You can always install them from Arch or AUR. I didn't just merge all the Endeavour images into one to install them.

  • I setup my own matrix instance and ran a few bridges on it, so I don't need WhatsApp thanks

  • In Hong Kong, "Hongkongers love working"

    There's a typhoon? We work.
    There's a rainstorm? We work.
There's a political conflict? We work.
There's an apocalypse? We'll probably still go to work.

So whenever people from other countries complain about work hours being too long or retirement age being raised, we just laugh at them. And then continue working.

  • My Endeavour OS has Plasma, GNOME, Xfce, bspwm and Hyprland on it. I haven't really had any problem with them.

  • You should've chained comments under your own without anyone replying

  • I also saved that Firefox add-ons post! It has told me a lot of very useful add-ons.

  • I can setup bridges, so I can communicate with any other messaging systems (whatsapp, discord) within matrix

  • Hold your key's metal part and touch some other metal that is earthed to discharge yourself.

By holding the key, you provide a way bigger surface area for transferring the charge, so it won't hurt you.

  • I edit my comment, but still keep the original wrong one in the edit. I want to admit what I did wrong.
