Why does everyone assume they can magically cure my lifelong illness? It's exhausting.

  • I still think there are so many adults out there that wholeheartedly believe in the Just World Fallacy. It's honestly baffling how many people have a hard time accepting that things just happen to people without any moral value being assigned to them.

  • From personal experience working in DoD research, the amount of compartmentalization a lot of those people have drove me insane. I knew quite a few young earth creationists & fake moon landing believers when I was there. I definitely think a lot of those folks think that their military funding is safer under trump, and everyone outside of their field is a "corrupt leftist scientist"

  • Had to stay at home with parents during COVID quarantine w/ Fox News on almost 24/7, you're absolutely right. Also the "token democrat" is so biased to agree with soft conservative points, it's frustrating how many people fall for that trick.
