Oh yeah Metaphor is just as crazy as P5 in terms of "oh shit this kinda seems like the real world". But it still does have a bit to improve on gameplay-wise imo.
1- Not mutually exclusive. That doesnt mean I shouldn't still be worried about data centers.
2- Data Centers, in some senses, are causing way more noticeable and immediate impacts to people. Animal Agriculture isnt really making people's taps go dry or running propane generators. AI is also a way bigger problem than meat in itself.
3- They addressed this in the article, but still, at least the animal agriculture is actually producing a good that people want to have: meat.
4- Ironically (or maybe not), this article seems extremely AI generated. The blog's profile pic and pictures are also AI slop. So... Great going, dear environmentally and socially conscious vegan substack "author".
I found someone posting this image as early as April 2020. https://x.com/ANeonGreenCity/status/1251762077347328001
The only reason I've been able to think of that would suggest this wasnt real is that every photo of this tweet seems to be the same exact screenshot circulating around. Other than that, I saw one person on Facebook say they actually saw it live.
So I'd say its kinda undecided but I feel like if it was real there would be more varied screenshots of the tweet, ones with different dimensions and in different themes.
Anyway, here's another screenshot I saw, just as ambiguously real:

Jesus loves all, and the love of Jesus is the most beautiful and totally non-toxic relationship to be had... 😌🌸
Yes they do, because they actually take the care to craft a genuinely awesome user experience. Unlike, I dont know, what seems like literally every other company nowadays
