I said half are VOCALLY anti-Trump. And I also said it's not enough. So you and I are on the same side, other than you implying I'm a parasite because of the country I was born in. Which is pretty fucked up.
But my point was it harms their credibility to claim more than half of Americans support trump when they clearly don't. And it hurts YOUR credibility to call all Americans parasites. But if you're just here to stir shit up and be divisive, have at me.
41% of eligible Americans didn't vote in 2024, which is too many, but was actually better than many previous elections.
For comparison, about 31% of eligible Canadians didn't vote in 2025. So there's about a 10% difference between what's considered acceptable vs. not, by you.
So I'd ask you back, of that extra 10% Americans that don't vote, how much of that do you think is based on personal choice, and how much is based on things like voter disenfranchisement, misinformation, and making it nearly impossible for poor people and people of color to vote in red states?
If you ask me, that 10% difference between our countries' voting behaviors is probably more due to the government than the population. So maybe that's where we should direct our ire? But again if you just want to hate all Americans, I'm probably not going to change your perspective.
It's not fun to live in the US right now, nor to be lumped in with the bad apples when many of us are doing what we can to resist them.
