Games @lemmy.world Slay the Spire is one of those games where the more I play it, the worse I do. I did better at this game when I didn't know what I was doing then I do now after hundreds of hours in the game.

Games @lemmy.world I tried to mod Cyberpunk 2077 and it was not a smooth experience. I first tried using Vortex in Bottles but it wouldn't run. I then tried to use ProtonUp-QT but couldn't figure out exactly what to do.

Board Games @sopuli.xyz I played Undergrove for the first time today and it was really fun. It's developed by the same person who designed Wingspan. I really like the natural world themes she uses in the games.

@BotsRuinedEverything My opinion on games and mods is that the first playthrough should always be vanilla. This allows you to get a feel for what the game is actually like and allows you to provide an honest review for the game. It also lets you know what parts of the game need improvement so you know what mods to look for.
One thing I would suggest is to get the Phantom Liberty expansion. It fits really well with the rest of the game and adds a merchant to buy missed Iconic weapons.
