    This is contradicting. I didn't "remember" anything I went and found our dms that you initiated so I could accurately recount the context and what was said verbatim. The complete opposite of putting words of putting words in your mouth.

    Not only that but you've been the only one to make personal judgements here. And outright lied about our interaction on reddit.

    Made it personal by saying I have a "problem with women just existing" which falls apart upon examining the context. Yet I'm somehow the the one leaving context out. I have no issue with that woman or the photo.

    Nothing wrong with it in and of itself, I just thought it was strange in conjunction when a freshly created reddit account with 8k karma 400 contributions, was saying liberal stuff, about russia, while having a soviet hat in there pfp. Already having a personal brand so to speak. Its generally only informative, long time users that have decent pfp especially on reddit. It seemed inorganic / exactly what feds would do if they were running an account.

    Was due to the totality of the circumstances

  • Idk I'm just trying to be thorough and transparent. As I'm toeing a fine line.

    I typed a response to theyre implicit accusation of me being an incel but my phone restarted before i posted it. Maybe I'll re type it. But for brevities sake I referred to it in that way presuming that they're fed. As in if the feds were to make a profile why wouldn't they use a "thirst trap" as the PFP, and slap on a Soviet hat on to call it a day. Honeypot esque. I don't think there's anything wrong with referring to it that way. If I had a brad pit PFP and someone referred to it that way that would be fair. They're profile just stuck out to me as "hello fellow kids" like.

    Plus its frustrating that were getting hung up on one word I used, missing the forest for the trees. Only serves to derail the conversation.

    However ill push back on me being "hyperdefensive". Im trying to be as transparent as possible because I feel it would be worse to make this admittedly inflammatory post/comment but just leave it that. I'm just trying to air out my motivations so it doesn't have presumed. I understand it makes me look worse and hyperdefensive but Id prefer that than the contrary.

    Idk... I really just want to see more principled discussions and was annoyed with the replies more so than the post itself. I prefer to lurk, reading more informed opinions than my own. I'll go back to lurking after this lol.

    I was disappointed to see confident yet lazy statements, and presumptuous personal attacks that im a sexist or reactionary and that's its self evident thereby uskng thst to discredit anything else I said

    Its not "drama" from the past I was trying to establish a track record of them holding ignorant opinions and behaving fed like. The first interaction I had I said:

    "Bot detected. 25 day old account 8 karma, 400 contributions, pfp is some thirst trap with a poorly edited ussr (hat) on top. Or just dome freak (as opposed to a bot) regardless whyre you posting so much if you don't know what you're talking about." In response to them saying

    Shouldn't have called them a freak, idrk what I meant tho it was awhile ago. I guess It just gave weird parasocial gooner adolescent vibes cuz it was reddit after all. And with that PFP I called them a freak, as I think many people would, quite the contrary to me being an incel. It felt like they were incel like themselves. But I apologize for saying that based off assumptions I made.

    Idek what subreddit your talking about. That's not what I took issue with. It was a matter of lack of due diligence, the way things were stated, "I'm just asking questions" and honest to God your profile pic lmao. Personally, if I have low confidence in my beliefs I just lurk, or preface them with something explicitly demonstrating so.

    Maybe it was wrong for me to hastily paint you as such. Which I admitted. I was just floating the idea. Mostly for other people to scrutinize posts on here more, and how they interact with them. Your posts are self admittedly vague and inflammatory after all.

    I view this platform as of higher quality than reddit. When I saw your post I was surprised with how people responded. What I've done is more inflammatory than what you did. But... that's just how I'm able to prompt a more in depth discussion on the matter. For example on your post someone said it was fascist, I asked how, they replied with a guardian article from 2017 that just loosely talked about 4chan, irony poisoning, and "fascism" while using the term very loosely without defining it. Nowhere was goy mentioned, or how its fascist. They didn't care to elaborate as it turned out.

    I guess I'm tired of people making statements without corroborating them. Especially on this matter when its tone policing ostensibly anti zionist language used by the general public which I see as good.

    Anyways, I actually like most of your comment's in general. After this post I won't have a vendetta or anything against you. I was lashing out because I was annoyed with how the community was responding to your post, not you personally.

  • The premise that its reactionary in and of itself needs to be established. Is it used by reactionaries? Sure. But I don't think its used in a reactionary way.

    To partly answer your question of its surge in use;

    "Goys" are used by practicing Jews to to perform tasks that they are prohibited from doing during Sabbath. Like cooking etc. Effectively exploiting a loophole in the religion. Goys are effectively viewed as slaves/cattle etc by many sects. Part of the use is used to poke fun of the ridiculousness of this effective loophole. Which I take no issue with. Just as I think it's funny when people joke about the Amish using sophisticated pneumatics etc. Or "soaking" in regards to mormons.

    "Reactionaries" might say "good goy" in response to someone supporting Israel in one way or another.

    Its not dissimilar than the use of gusano, craker, or the n word by black people.

  • Its not a matter of convincing them if they're dependant. Its a matter of making it economical and accessible. Plus the practices used by Mongolia for example are much more humane, efficient, and ecologically sustainable compared to the west. I don't take much issue with a small rural country that treats animals with respect and where everyone is exposed to the killing of the animals and has great appreciation for them. From a purely moral standpoint I understand. But I just dont see the relevance in brining it up. The bigger issue is that countries with diverse and affordable vegan options still choose to consume meat at comparable rates to Mongolia. US and Australia actually consume more meat per capita than Mongolia depending on the data source. World population review has it at 131 (Mongolia) and 122 (USA) kg/person.

    USA (while being a net importer) has 85m cattle stock vs 5m in Mongolia. The larger the animal the less efficient / more damaging it is for the environment. Although I concede that Mongolia eats more lamb than beef. Additionally the conditions in which American livestock are kept is reprehensible.

    Brazil has 285 million cattle. Their exports have doubled since 2019. While slash and burning forest to clear new land for cattle. This is due almost exclusively due to American demand.

    Its easy to finger wag Brazil for enabling those actions but it wouldn't be the case if it wasn't for gluttonous Americans.

    It is the same thing as telling the global south ect to stop using oil etc while having no ground to stand on. Unless your Chinese lol.

    Lastly switching to widespread veganism on paper doesn't necessarily improve shit for the global south.
