To my understanding it's more based on the phone model rather than carrier. I use graphene, which only supports pixels.
I think it's an x11/Wayland incompatability issue.
My pocket mirror had a copyright date of 1914, but it's reasonable to assume it's a bit newer than that. It's probably around 100 years old.
It's great to hear that you don't want to die. Having a difficult time expressing your emotions doesn't mean that they aren't there. You're only 20 and there is so much of life ahead of you. You have plenty of time to transition, and based on what you've described here it seems likely that you would receive a gender dysphoria diagnosis if you sought it out.
There are plenty of things you can do before that to focus on gender affirmation and taking care of your mental well being. You're in a really emotionally intense stage of your life and transition and it is important that you treat yourself kindly. How you are now is not how you will remain.
It seems like a category error to compare email to Discord or Slack. The latter two are distinct companies and not protocols.
It's super common.
I guess there's always Haiku?
I somehow could not find the Mint install so I went with Ubuntu Mate. It was fine.
I'm pretty sure antiX is designed for this specific use, but I have not run it personally. It's based in Debian stable (which right now is Bookworm and will be Trixie pretty soon). I'm very fond of Debian. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done.
Ubuntu Mate was my first distro and it helped me learn a lot, but I don't really see a point in using Ubuntu over Debian. I never found it easier and you learn apt either way.
For me personally I install kitty terminal and integrate it with fish asap. Then I waste a bunch of time customizing it to my liking. My preferred text editor is Kate regardless of what DE I'm using and I usually get bleachbit for basic cleanup.
