Firefox terms up service (it got way worse)
  • This just means they can use the information you input in order for Firefox to work the way you expect it to. The purpose of the information collection is clearly stated:

    to help you navigate, experience, and interact with online content as you indicate with your use of Firefox.

  • Is setting up Mint supposed to be this hard?
  • Add "Horribly mangle the system while experimenting with obscure pre-alpha open source customization software" and you have my experience with Mint.

  • Another name for the NATO alphabet is the International Radiotelephony Spelling Alphabet or "standard phonetics," and as its name implies it is the standard alphabet for spelling out words via two-way radio. Pilots, mariners, first responders, soldiers, and amateur radio operators around the world all use this alphabet. It's cool to learn because of how many people understand it.

    However, it isn't going away, even if NATO collapses.
