  • Either Eurovision boycotts Pissrael or we continue our boycott of Eurovision as we've done for the last 2 years. They had no hesitation in giving Russia the boot in 2022 so the fact its taken them 2 years is indefensible. The only difference is the religion and skin colour of the people being slaughtered.

  • There's still a few weeks until 25.10 releases. If its still issues by release time I'm sure that they'll either delay the 25.10 release (as they have done in the past) or pause the coreutils-rs rollout and stick to GNU Coreutils for this release.

  • Quite frankly anybody that's still defending the Democratic Party and the AIPAC-driven Harris 2024 campaign sounds more like a bot than any of the real people I talk about politics with every day who absolutely despise both Trump and the feckless, centrist Dems.

  • 🤷‍♀️ you don't get a pass for supporting genocide just because your opposition is one degree worse. If democrats wanted to win they should have listened to the voters and not their billionaire consultants and AIPAC donors. Sucks to suck!

  • Episode did a great job illustrating how all Jews aren't to blame for Israel and how Israel's genocide is making Jews around the world less safe, but doesn't make the key point that the issue is with Israel/Zionism and if Netanyahoo went away tomorrow Israel would still be a genocidal, colonial apartheid state. Overall I'd give it a generous B- just for throwing cold water on a lot of the antisemetic narratives surrounding this genocide.

  • Whats even the point of democracy if politicians aren't running to give people what they actually want and just point at the greater evil and say "I won't do anything to improve your lives, but the other guy is really scary and bad!". Can you even name a single Harris 2024 policy proposal off the top of your head?

  • What has Kamala said or done in the last 9 months to fight the fascist regime? Has she called for people to get on the streets and protest or called for a general strike? No, shes done fuck all except write a book full of excuses for losing from her Bel Air mansion. And you're over here defending it, its pathetic.

  • The pro-Palestine movement is protesting against the Trump administration almost every day. Just because Democrats are one degree better doesn't mean they get a pass for supporting the modern-day Holocaust for 16 months and handing the country on a silver platter to Trump.

Every Democrat who played a part in propping up the inanimate corpse of Biden and supported the genocide in 2024 need to be run out of politics and reminded of their miserable fucking FAILURE to stop fascism for the rest of their lives.

  • Support to these workers striking - Mark Carney promised he wouldn't do austerity like Pollievre and hes blatantly breaking that promise with funding cuts for Canada Post. If there's a crisis at Canada Post its because they need to be funded, not have working hours cut in the name of austerity.

  • I live in a wildly overpriced studio apartment. I would jump at the chance to move into a concrete block apartment with no AC and limited hot water if it took $500 off my monthly rent.

  • That's good to know! So it's there, but very spotty and inadequate in areas. Still better than nothing like in the US.

I live in Canada where we have the "best" universal healthcare system in the world by some estimates (single payer, free universal healthcare as a right for all citizens), but we only got dental and pharmacy care added to our program last year. Since the 1960s until 2024 our universal healthcare system was the same "basics only" coverage for hospital and physician visits, and everything else was tied to private insurance. Vision care still isn't covered.

BDS WORKS - Microsoft blocks Israel’s use of its technology in mass surveillance of Palestinians

Micro$hit and Xbox Game Studios was added to the BDS list for high-priority boycott a few months ago - now that Micro$hit is feeling the pinch, they say they won't take Israel's blood money any more. KEEP UP THE PRESSURE.
