How do you do it?
  • You and @MelodiousFunk@slrpnk.net get me so well. Thanks for the conversation. If you want anyone to talk to about it, you can hit me up.

Proof: I made this following post while going through it yesterday. I think the pointlessness is the hard part. When there feels like there is absolutely nothing in your control, why even bother. It's the adult version of an autistic kid's, "Don't touch my stuff without my permission!"

  • A cool guide to the minimum wage by state in the USA (source: reddit)
  • The more a country/state's main industry is based on a simple commodity, the more likely it will be a crappy place to live in for a regular person because they are easily replaceable. The more complex an economy, the better the life of a regular person because training and experience makes them less replaceable, which allows them to have more of a voice.

  • People that believe in reincarnation, why do you believe in that?
  • You are in parallel rn. All your cells are independent living beings all doing their thing. They might be part of structures, tissues, or-gans. Each one alone is not you. Almost all cells are completely unaware of the majority of the other cells. A cell in the muscle fiber in your foot has no awareness of a cell in the retina of your eye. In fact, none of the cells have any real awareness. But when they all act in parallel, you come about. Imagine that, but with all life. Maybe there's an emergence that comes from that.

  • People that believe in reincarnation, why do you believe in that?
  • What if we're all different parts of the same thing, so no one really dies. You instead get absorbed back into the big life thing, things get rearranged, and life comes up somewhere else with a little bit of you and a bunch of other stuff mixed in? There is no death. Just a new mix.

  • All communities in one single community, but without putting them into one single community
  • PieFed kinda does this with Topics. There are the regular Lemmy communities, then they get grouped into topics and you can see all of the same communities in one topic at the same time without even having to subscribe to each one.

  • Member when all it took to lose the confidence of the American People was too much enthusiasm?
  • We're gonna go to New York. We're gonna go to Vermont. We're gonna go to Oregon. We're gonna go to Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania. We're going to Cancun for spring break. We're gonna go to Montreal. We're going to Vancouver. I'm going all over the world. And then, I'm coming all the way to Wateron DC to take back the White House....pyahhhh💪👉

  • I can't be obsessed and anxious if I plan ahead

Think about it meme. Has a screenshot of an item on a checklist that states, "Is obsessively worried about running out of an item, or needing an item in the future." The item is unchecked, and it has a note that claims, "No because I always keep a backup supply."

Maybe I missed the point of the question, but I answered truthfully.

    It's almost paradoxical

1: Didn't I tell you not to touch my things? 2: You need to chill. You have autism spectrum disorder. 1: How can I have a disorder when I like order? That makes no sense. 2: Because you take things literally. 1: You're the one that literally took my things!

Where did the "Plasma" in KDE Plasma come from, and why do many people say that with or instead of just KDE?

It's always been just KDE to me. In the past year or so, I've noticed people calling Plasma KDE or even just Plasma. What happened? Why do people insist on making the name longer? Why the word Plasma? What is Plasma referring to? And, are they trying to move away from the KDE name to just Plasma?

Answer: Plasma is the desktop environment. KDE is the community that makes Plasma and many other related software.
