After working on it for two years, I've finally released Minimal Slide on Steam.
When I started making it, Godot 4 was almost out, but I wanted to made the game with Godot 3 not only because I already had a bit of experience with it, but also to celebrate what I thought was already a very cool engine.
If you're interested, I've made a thread on my BlueSky account to show the numbers a game with little to none advertisement can pull (spoiler: I'm far from earning enough the recoup the Steam Direct fee).
Anyway, thanks for reading. Let me know any thought you have about the game!

Silent Hill 2 Remake
Japanese streamer 2BRO conducted a live gameplay session on YouTube, spanning 90 minutes from the start of the Silent Hill 2 remake. The highly anticipated game is developed by Bloober Team and will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on October 8.
Discussion Prompt:
What are your expectations for the Silent Hill 2 Remake? Do you think modern adaptations of classic horror games can capture the original atmosphere effectively?
Two years ago, I learned Godot 3 to make my first game. After releasing it on Itch.io last year, I decided to update it and release it to Steam!

I vaguely remember seeing this game on Steam ages ago and thinking it looked interesting, but then forgot about it. Now, during the Steam rhythm fest, it caught my eye again and I immediately bought it. And it's so, so much fun.
So first of all, if you're into rhythm games and haven't played this, I'd highly recommend it!
My question though, is if anyone else here plays it? What are your favourite songs, or do you mostly play custom songs?
I'm currently trying to get better at playing songs in Hard difficulty but tend to accidentally mix up the beats and taps. Still trying to get used to the controls, but I love it so far!
Old school horror game Post Trauma has popped up at Future Games Show at Gamescom Presented by Sid Meier's Civilization® VII to reveal a release date with a new trailer.
Debuted during the Expansion Pack post show, the sneak peek starts with an ominous shot of an abandoned train on the subway, setting a suitably unsettling dark and scary tone for what's to come as we slowly make our way through the rest of the trailer. We see our main character explore an abandoned underground before realizing that, actually, he isn't the only one there – the giant arm shooting out the floor is a highlight, but the big ol' heads with arms and legs are not. Far from a few friendly faces, we see all sorts of nightmarish beings that'll make your quest home anything but pleasant.
The trailer also features voiceover work from various characters and a closer look at new faces and environments. Excitingly, it ends with the reveal that Post Trauma

The game, which served as an educational tool about life in prehistoric times, utilized an IBM 7090 mainframe. With the original source code lost to time, Contato managed to rebuild it using available game printouts.

Unlike many other games, the biggest draw to the Trails franchise is its world. The entire franchise is divided several story arcs. One arc can come to a close, but then it becomes a part of the story for every game that follows. New protagonists may find themselves interacting with older protagonists, antagonists that had a minor role in one arc will have a major role in another... The story can keep going as long as you're willing to start the next arc in the series.
If anyone is interested in getting into a JRPG series that isn't Final Fantasy, this is a superb candidate. Trails in the Sky is where it all kicks off.
So let's get down to it.
