I'm not antisemitic and I think circumcision is wrong. It's sexual assault, normalized.
I get the traditional and cultural reasons why it was done, but that time is gone.
I think historically, intersex people would have an operation to assign a single gender. Nowadays, we wait, as it is considered cruel to assume. Why is it different for religion? Why do we have an exception for people who are not medically trained to perform what is essentially an operation.
The only reason it is tolerated and legal and common is due to cultural memory. If some new religion required all children to have their appendix removed preventively, we would not do that.

I know a lot of folks are against circumcision, but my old boss was 78 and had to be circumcized cuz the sheath lost its elasticity and he couldn't pee and yea that's an old person issue but man. I'm just glad they did it when I was too young to remember. He was not a happy camper

So can I sue my parents for circumcision now? Or rather sue the U.S. government for allowing genital mutilation to children. The rate for adult males in the U.S. is around 80% of the population, and new borns is declining quickly. About 100 million men.
Let's say we sue for $100,000 a piece, which I would consider a low settlement for a government allowing mutilation of its population. What's that.. $10 trillion dollars or so?

Much as I feel genital mutilation is awful and should be a thing of the past this will unfortunately harm people on the way. The religious who believe circumsision is a good idea will keep doing so, but along the way women who are pregnant will have their only reasonable option for pain and fever relief stigmatised, ironically potentially increasing the rate of autism. There is some evidence that maternal fever may increase the likelihood of autism in the child, so not using paracetamol to control fever may increase the rate.
Also, never side with Nazis. If they say the sky is blue you don't say you agree, you say that the sky is blue. They will always try to pull people in to agreeing with them and then change their opinion later and try to pull people along with them.

This wouldn't be "defending it" like a copyright claim. This would be suing for damages. It doesn't matter how much they care about the brand. They'd sue to get money based on a loss of potential sales (future and present) and any other harm done.
