Something along the lines of how MAGA is doing everything they can to show it was a liberal that did it, when we all know it's MAGA.
(I know that Kimmel may be wrong, I'm just reporting what he said.) I'm pretty sure that's the line that did it.
That's also all I can find. I don't see why they'd fire him for that; MAGA people have said far worse things, both in response to this shooting and on a general basis. Like the Fox guy who wanted to kill homeless people (and apparently people have already acted on that).
