For the unaware WSL = Window's Subsystem Linux. Basically, Windows integrates a Linux commandline within itself. It can also run Linux Virtual Machines using HyperV, a great way for Windows Users to try out distros and find one that they like.

Starting on hard mode I see.

I used to run wsl for dev work (before admin let me switch OS), debugging environment issues was such a pain
