  • I thought she was not popular in Germany..But might be forwarded as a candidate for Presidency by the CDU, it seems.

    • She isn't, but the president isn't elected by popular vote but from parliament.

        I used translation option to read the article. Don't know how the original reads, but translations was bad or it reads sensationally weird to me. Anyhow it sounded all like gossip, is this correct?

      That's never a problem. The brain-dead and the senile combine to a massive majority and both are changing their opinion instantly once the right propagandists tell them how to think.

      Also the president isn't elected by the population. So it's even cheaper as politicians don't need to be brain-washed, they can simply be bought.

        Unfortunately, this is not uniquelly a German situation. I find it a miracle we still have (some sort of) a Government at all in our divided countries.
