Any weird dreams recently?

Last night I had a "back in school" dream, only in this one, the McElroy brothers were helping me cheat on a project. Unsurprisingly, Justin was the most helpful. What weird ones have y'all had?

  • I was sitting on a park bench with a giant bowl of grapes, slicing them in half with a butchers cleaver and eating them. I don't really like or eat grapes...

  • I had one that my best friend's fiancé started hitting me up. Freaked me out becuase they are lesbian and I am a man. That was honestly weirder than the one where I was doing a bicycle demolition derby against Goofy, Mickey Mouse, and Bill Nye

  • Doing product design and photography with someone I was close with. I often dreamscape my life if I had not been physically disabled. It is like alternate self universes, a haunting nightmare really.

  • I dreamed a friend built a treehouse so big it had a mezzanine and a staircase. He invited me to tour it and didn't bother to mention he'd filled it with hungry zombies - because obviously he was going to do that, duh.

  • A month back I had a dream after not sleeping for a few days. I was chasing after a great horned owl through sun bleached alley ways. I think the gwo was Tezcatlipoca. Eventually I turned a corner and the alleys gave way to a horizon that was soon blocked by a large golden (brown) eagle that swooped down towards me. I think the eagle was Xipe Totec. Then I woke up.

I know why I had those elements on the brain since I'm obsessed with Aztecs. I'm just the biggest gringo in the world so it was a bit bizarre to dream about such things.

  • Recently, can't remember shit. When I was younger I used to have nightmares (weren't really scary, more so unpleasant) where my dick fell off. Also of other things falling off.

  • Yeah… I hardly ever remember my dreams, but last night had some very odd and vivid nightmares with interesting real-life occurrences following thereafter.

    1. my wife and I were at a College pool party. The pool was situated in the center of various two-story apartment buildings, which had balconies facing the pool.

All is well initially, but then it gets cramped. People keep showing up. Everyone in the pool begins to plod around in circles, like the kids would do in the kiddie pool to make whirlpools.

People continue to show up. Eventually, the sky darkens to a sickly green, and people begin to fall from the balconies and slam onto the pavement as they are pushed from their vantages by new arrivals. The pool sees people drowning and trampled underfoot by the masses. Dream over.

    1. my wife and I needed to get some clothes tailored. My wife suggests we visit someone she found on Facebook marketplace or something, as it’s a “better value”. We arrive at a run-down but not decrepit house akin to the ones you’d see in lower middle class neighborhoods (in the conventional sense of the term) and the tailor walks out, greeting us. She is blind, but very kind.

When we arrive to pick up the clothes, the lady invites us in. Once we get in, all lights go out, and she starts gyrating and holding her hands up. The temperature drops dramatically and I feel an uneasy presence. Dream over.

After I awoke from the second dream, I had noticed our apartment’s WiFi had cut out at almost the same time. I know it was almost the same time, because our TV was playing a rain livestream all night, and the TV screensaver pops up after 5 minutes of buffering. The screensaver popped up right after I had finished using the bathroom; I reckon I was in the BR for about five minutes.

Really weird, and typing this out has me scratching my head further. Cased the whole apartment, but everything was normal, so I went back to bed. Rain started back up about a minute or two after I laid back down.

  • Okay, I remember a dream I had the other night. I forgot it only to remember later. I'm sort of scatter-brained. I was hugging a dog and crying. I've never had a dog before. I like dogs.

  • I can still have back in college dreams where I've missed class or don't have an assignment. I obviously got scarred with my real experiences, as when I wake up I find it ridiculous to still have such anxiety to try and fix what was broken so long ago. It doesn't help that they usually are combined with the regular impediment of my bad dreams of not being able to move well, just walking is like being in quicksand.

The weirdest dream I've had in my adult life that still bugs me was some liminal horror from watching too many Backroom type videos. I can't recall the setup or anything, all I can remember is that I was looking up at the sky and the sky was becoming not darker but felt like it was closing in and projecting an oppressive feeling, and there was this ominous low level sound that was paralizing me. Nothing appeared, nothing happened (except I woke suddenly), but that hopeless feeling was terrible.

  • All of my dreams are surreal anf they happen a lot. Wish I could remember enough to tell you about them lol

  • Me and my toddler in bed (as in real life too), and some guys i knew from work say they need to "clear the infestation". And start stabbing randomly at the bed with daggers. A big lump appears in the bed running around while they try to hit it.

One of the guys says "look, yermaw, you need to change its nappy before we stab it its fucking rotten". I lift the covers to find a toddler. I dont recognise it as mine, or even human, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with its shape/colour/size.

I go to 'change its nappy' and instead run outside with both toddlers, steal a car and race to the hospital. I explain that I need to see a mental health doctor immediately, and explain that this child might be mine and I might be suffering some weird mental health crisis, but the other is definitely mine. They explain to me that its a 6 month waiting list, and im in no fit state to care for either child and take them off me there and then.

Then the guys from before show up, and they're pissed at me for "letting it get away", and apparently I'm a traitor to the entire human race AND ive lost my daughter and possibly a son, who knows.

I woke up panicking then, but its a shame because that had all the makings of a tense psychological thriller.
