The prosecutor in charge of the case says Marius Borg Høiby's membership of the royal family should not allow him to be treated more lightly.
Marius Borg Høiby, the son of Norway's Crown Princess Mette-Marit, has been charged with 32 offences including four counts of rape.
The prosecution is pushing for him to be treated equally regardless of his status in the royal family.
The four counts of rape for which Mr Høiby is charged allegedly took place in 2018, 2023 and 2024.
