Glad that this show is getting a planned ending.
It’s honestly surprising. I would have assumed it’s get cancelled before it finished.
Glad they’re not milking the shit out of it. S2 had barely any movement with the plot. Having a set limit to end the series will hopefully improve the pace.
After really enjoying season 1, season 2 felt like it wasted so much time just to pad out the season, plus it had a terrible cliffhanger. I think the story was interesting but to cut it off when they did was just stupid.
It's the same cliffhanger the book ended on. The show is following the books fairly well. Most changes are just to make it a better story for the screen.
I gave up half way through season 2. Season one was excellent and I was riveted. Season 2 felt like watching someone play tomb raider and figure out a puzzle, but without the fun of exploration and an actual puzzle.
I tried to watch it on the apple service, but since it's impossible to use without apple hardware, I guess I'll just turn to the high seas, like they apparently want me to. Also their interface sucks.
