This whole saga might just inadvertently make porno games explode (heh) in popularity. I've never played one myself, but if GOG is giving some away for free, I'm going to download a few and see what the hype is about.

I'm rewatching some Criminal Minds. You'd be surprised/horrified at what some people bust to. The main word of that show is sexual sadism. That said, this one does stand out among the other games lol

It was published in 2015 and it feels like it was written in 2007, I find it mostly funny but I agree it's not be the best ambassador for the genre.
I’ve played Being a ΔΙΚ, House Party, and Fetish Locator, and they’re pretty great. Heard good things about Hunnie Pop and Leap of Faith.

I read up a little on what's on offer and it seems that the Leap of Faith game is actually quality, story driven, and deals with heavy subjects like bipolar depression , body image problems and more.

I'm going to out myself a little bit in praise of the horny games genre. I enjoy comedies, and I've had more laughs while playing these games than anything else I've watched or played in the last few years. So many horny games put you in a place to have good, light hearted fun. Being a DIK (included in the bundle) has so many great moments with Derek and Hell week especially. Being a DIK probably has the best soundtrack and needle drops in all of gaming. Hunie Pop's dialogue is also incredibly funny. If any of this kindles your interest in the AVN genre, make sure you play Eternum.; it's far and away the funniest game and some of the best times I've had by myself wearing my headphones and cackling like a madman.
AVN devs are virtuosos of game design. They are pouring their souls into making these experiences no one will ever hear about because of their sexual content, and subsisting on mainly donations.

It might be that there is a region lock or something. It only worked for me after connecting via VPN to the NL. And then it still complained but the games showed up in the library
If any one of the games are banned in your country, you will get an error.

Two of the games were banned in my country, so a quick VPN to the Netherlands and the "purchase" went through.
I did log a support ticket with GOG and they referred me to the KB article above.

They should let people buy credits.. Then redeem them for the game they want.

Or Wii points. With craftfully engineered payment options and prices so that emptying your account was a puzzle where you always end up buying something you didn't really want.
Combined with star points in Europe, the loyalty reward points that you couldn't use for anything for years... And then they let you exchange them for Wii points, at a ridiculously low conversion rate, and you're struggling to use those again.
That's just called buying a game.

Then reduce amount off during sales and give people bonus credits whenever they buy something. Bonus credits can be used wherever...
Or... They can create their own crypto coin and people can buy that with dollars. Visa and MasterCard don't stop people (although do charge a ridiculous fee) from buying crypto already, which can be used on all sorts of more nefarious dealings.
We can get even more convoluted if we need to.
