Apparently, only because he lied on his résumé, not because of anything he did.
Consequences for behaviors is what's needed.

Huh. Sounds like he wasn't kissing the right boots. Cause that, of all things, feels really weird to be the line that he gets punished for crossing.

Right? It's like the feds getting Capone for tax evasion. Only it feels less like "this was the only sure way to get the result", and more like the committee was just pissed he lied to them.

they finally found the bad apple guys, its over, the cops are good again.

Goes to show, if they're serious about making sure nobody ever works in law enforcement again, they absolutely can do it.

He'll be hired at another precinct within a month. Maybe in another state but probably not.
