Intel Will Drop Out of the Cutting-Edge Chip Race If It Doesn’t See External Customer Interest, Possibly Marking the Fall of a Key Custodian of Moore's Law

I’m honestly at a point where most of my tech problems are software and quality problems. My last PC build is coming up on 4 years and it still handles 4k just fine, even on new releases. I spent about $1500 when it was new, so it’s not like I overbuilt either.

From my perspective, we’re already past the point of diminishing returns. Our next major processing break won’t be making faster x86 processors.
